I obtained my BSc in Computer Software Engineering at Shahid Chamran University and my MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Kurdistan, Iran. I am currently pursuing a PhD at Leibniz Universität Hannover while working as an Early Stage Researcher for the EU-funded Horizon 2020 project CLEOPATRA, Cross-Lingual Event-centric Open Analytics Research Academy, under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network at the TIB research center. As a doctoral student in the CLEOPATRA project, I work on multimodal fact validation aiming to develop methods to process diverse data from multiple modalities. My final goal is verifying facts in order to prevent circulation of fake news reports in various online platforms.
